this is probably the best I've seen from you so far. This is taking the time to think about what someone would want to look at, thinking about what is worth taking a photo of. There are a lot of reasons this image works from a design standpoint, whether you realized it or not at the time of the photographing. Even if you didn't consciously make those decisions, something subconsciously did.
